The fire, whether it be a campfire or a burning barrel, is a primitive source of light and warmth.
The campfire can be hand crafted using a log or two hay. The burning barrel can be hand crafted using one oil.
Once crafted it will drop to the ground, because it is too big and hot to carry. It does not produce light in un-breathable atmospheres. Attempts to hand craft a fire in water or unbreathable atmosphere will fail.
