The 7th universe started on the 1st of March 2022 and ran for almost a year, with a fully free-to-play (F2P) model, until the MMO shutdown on the 26th January 2023.

The server hardware was installed in a new server facility with far more affordable pricing, allowing Haxus to self-fund it indefinitely.

The start of the universe suffered from some performance and lag issues, followed by a period of relative stability. The universe basically ran without maintenance for most of the year as Haxus was busy with life, which meant there was little development. It was revealed that any server reboots that had happened were all due to storm outages.

Alongside this, the "Neutral Zone" was removed from the universe, making it PvP everywhere. Instead a noncombatant mechanic was implemented to protect property of players when they were offline. Unfortunately, this completely eliminated any real conflict because of some exploits in the mechanic's design.

End

The universe ended once the server bills came due. A full year had been paid in advance and Haxus wanted to focus on Hazeron Starship instead. He also mentioned that maintaining the servers had become too expensive.[1]

The universe had two small "End of universe" parties held by players during January of 2023.

Future Plan

Following the closure of this universe, Haxus returned to focusing development on Hazeron Starship and mentioned that the old MMO servers were kept stored away, in case he wished to activate them again.[2]
