Explored Systems Mistakenly Showing Unknown Emissions

#1
After exploring/scanning, systems show unknown contact in the galaxy map. There is no "system scanned" message when manually scanning from a sensor station.

So the solar systems aren't marked as explored at all?
I believe there is a bug right now that makes the starmap not correctly mark solar systems as explored/surveyed, and that might be your real issue.

The warp signatures are only shown on solar systems that aren't explored (as far as i know), and the warp signatures you were seeing were likely from your own ship.

PS: I wish warp signatures from own empire's spacecraft showed differently, or not at all.

This is exactly what I have observed too, the rate of the starmap updating warp signatures is slower than you are able to exit/enter systems.
Solution could be to simply omit warp signature to own empire, but not to other empires allowing cat/mouse chasing.

They are definitely my own signatures. In that image, the first 5-6 systems should have been explored and scanned.

That would be a welcome change. It makes sense that empires would know what signatures are their own and ignore them.

Assuming that "warp signatures" are actual unique signatures, yeah totally. I would love to be able to select a warp signature and see all the results that are from the same source.

I guess lore-wise the argument can be made that the warp signatures are just easier to detect near stars, and therefore stars are what light up on the starmap, but it makes following them and seeing movement very hard and kinda weird. So it would be awesome if it could also show a line along the warp signature points, and maybe even the latest date on them so we can actually see direction and somewhat path of a traveling ship.

The issue is then that warp signatures made by cities would be very easy to spot. But that is kinda already the case, so I don't have a good idea about how that should even work.
