Logging Camp not limited by Trees Onsite
#1
Logging camp is not limited in its number of manufacturing workshops like the mine and well. Logging camp actually seem to be using fields instead of workshops, which is weird.

There is also no default logging camp building blueprint, which seem to confuse some new players.

As far as I understand it, all a logging camp needs is 1 singular tree on its site, and then it takes the "seed" from that and grows it for the rest of the field, so this is intentional no?

Logging camps are only limited by fields. They are expected to manage their own trees, the way an orchard does.

I know there is no default logging camp. It is on my Silverwill to-do list.

Guess it is just different from how it was with old buildings then. Pretty sure the number of trees on the site used to matter for old cities.

It does however mean that the Logging Camp is kind of redundant, since the Orchard does the exact same but anywhere.

Can Logging Camp be made cheaply enough if it requires a lot of field space?
Or should all the wiki guides still suggest Stone as a starting resource?
