Large designs unable to calculate volume

I don't know if this data point will help, but with an intel i7-9750H with a 12MB L3 cache, my limit seems to be about 34M cubic meters. I draw a 100 x 1000 x 350 block, comes out to a bit less than 35M cubic meters. That works about 60% of the time. If I increase by 10% and try 100 x 1100 x 350, that has failed every time I tried so far.
