Hi there,

I (Dorak of the Cardassian Union) started playing the game again recently and I set the asteroid strike for the 4th of September. I was today building up my colonies and set course for my home planet (Cardassia Prime) only to find out that it was destroyed. It is the 2nd today. Is there anything that can be done?

I am assuming that is the date and time of creation. If so then I don't think you would have been able to select the 4th as an impact date, since you can only set it to a time that is 7 days ±12 hours from that date and time. Maybe you attempted to select the 4th and it unknowingly snapped back to the 2nd.

The only way to really confirm when the asteroid is really gonna hit is by talking with the stargazer. Since the observatory still doesn't give any information untill the T-8 hours.

This is not to say that the asteroids haven't been completely weird during the server instability.

Ha. That is possible, I remember selecting the 4th but it might have gone back to the 2nd then. Guess I should've listened to Targoss more haha
