Communiqué of the war council of Baguette, we have declared the following statements:

"Your worlds are burning. Your cities; smoldering craters. We have come to your request as you desired from the beginning of the continuity. Guided by shadows, we came to your vicinity, but the rest of the journey was our responsibility. We now uphold a new mantle of peace and prosperity for the rest of the universe, without the spread of your terrorist corruption on the free citizens of Hazeron and its vicinity."

By unanimity of the war council you are hereby charged with banishment to the Phantom Zone indefinitely. Please refer to the image below for the location of this phantom zone:
 

"This wasn't dealt lightly by the council but is a necessary step to prevent anime-furry hybrid abomination onto this galaxy and adjacent non-corrupted ones. Failure to adhere to this new policy of the GRC will result in your Forceful Eviction from all known space. The Foxtail empire has never wanted to fight the French Empire, and has only ever done so in self defense. Both sides clearly knows that the Foxtail empire doesn't stand a chance in ever threatening the French Empire.
The Foxtail empire is essentially a pacifist empire striving only to help other empires and newcomers. Suffice to say that the Foxtail empire is good to no one when they have no colonies, so not being able to dedicate resources into a permanent homeworld is starting to wear thin.

The French Empire can keep whatever worlds they have conquered from the Foxtail empire. But do note that their coordinates are now public and anyone that wish to hunt the French Empire will undoubtedly come to investigate.

In conclusion, thanks for the sport. Even though the Foxtail empire never had a chance, this was a fun experience. Now the Foxtail empire simply wish to search for a suitable homeworld and settle down. Preferably without the fear of hunters.

So what is this? The French Empire will continue to hunt the Foxtail empire for no reason?
Or is the French Empire trying to lay claim to the whole Shores of Hazeron galaxy?

If the French Empire is trying to lay claim to the whole galaxy, and even more if you start attacking other peaceful empires, the Foxtail empire will rally a resistance.

If the French Empire really still stand for the same morales as detailed on the wiki page you yourselves wrote, then you should instead help fortify the eastern cluster against impending Weltreich attack. Rather than chase around a powerless one-man empire.
