AEC Land Cruiser Mil (RADAR) by Phoenix Foxtrot DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION Name: AEC Mobile Modular Land Cruiser (MLC) Military Sensor Equipment Manufacturer: AEC Arcadian Engineering Corp Description: The AEC modular land cruiser was designed to operate in many diverse environmental conditions. Designed initially to meet a Arcadian Army contract for a mobile anti-orbital fire platform capable of operating in harsh environments. Army doctrine for planetary defenses emphasizes mobility in order to complicate orbital bombardment attacks. In order to meet design specifications AEC engineers designed the MLC with its own atomic power plant and heavy track drive system capable of moving the platform at an impressive pace across even high gravity worlds. Although it was not specified in the initial contract AEC foresaw the ability to utilize modular "mission modules" in order to carry the anti-orbital weaponry and eventually other equipment. It is this modularity that has allowed the MLC to become the primary platform for Army forces. The MLC has even found its way into civilian colonial applications in order to support the logistics of harsh world colonies. Note: This design does not move. It does have a full interior, but the description and styling is intended to be thematic rather than functional. If Haxus does at some point allow the design of large moving vehicles, then I would be eager to convert it over to whatever the requirements may be.
